St. Benedict’s Abbey in Atchison, Kansas partnered with our team to install a 733.5 kWDC fixed-tilt ground-mounted solar array designed to support the Abbey’s long-term sustainability goals and energy independence. The project included significant electrical infrastructure upgrades, including the installation of new medium-voltage switchgear. While supply chain delays extended the project timeline, careful planning and strong collaboration between engineering, operations, vendors, and field crews ensured successful completion.

What made this project especially rewarding was the Abbey’s deep interest in the technology behind the system and its commitment to renewable energy. Through detailed safety planning, seamless coordination, and the dedication of our installation teams, the project was completed without a single injury. The new solar array will allow the Abbey to generate nearly all of its electricity through clean energy while providing opportunities to export excess power, creating both environmental and long-term economic benefits for the organization.
